Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman,and His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi,Crown Prince of Ajman, has taken over the management of Ajman Port and Customs.The Port provides its services to the containers and shipments of commodities through 8 wharfs set up to cope with the expansion of industrial and business activities in the Emirate. Outgoing and incoming containers and commodities are stored in warehouses specially constructed for various types of items. The seaport's storage area totals 43,200 sq.m. which is fully covered. There are also special arrangements for handling certain type of shipments such as chemicals, fertilizers and waste paper. |
